CUBA 2018 & Beyond: New Challenges, Revolutionary Continuity

The Canadian Network on Cuba  has organized a two-week speaking tour of nine cities from Halifax to Victoria by two distinguished Cubans.

Juan Carlos Rodriguez Diaz, elected member of Cuba’s National Assembly of People’s Power, professor of history, and historian of the City of Pinar del Rio, will talk about elections and democracy in Cuba, and the passing of the revolutionary torch from the historic generation that made the Cuban Revolution to the new generations born during and within the revolution.

Yamil Martínez Marrero, official of the Canada Desk of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP) in Havana will outline the Ché Guevara Volunteer Work Brigade to Cuba, taking place from April 22 to May 6.

Organized by the Canadian Network on Cuba and the Nova Scotia Cuba Association.
