“How Arafat Eluded Israel’s Assassination Machine,” the story in the New York Times, which is part of a book which has come out, is a typical Mossad planted story in the U.S. media. Notice that there is an attempt to show that humanitarian consideration went into planning to kill Arafat.

The most fervent effort by Israel to kill Arafat was in the summer of 1982 during the savage siege of Beirut. As I lived those times, I remember how whole apartment buildings would be bombed by concussion bombs from the air ON THE SUSPICION that Arafat was in the building. Continue reading

Mass action in Nablus, Palestine, July 24 defends right to be.

By K.C. ADAMS

The people of Palestine have been engaged in a courageous battle for their right to be since WWII. Following the war, the Anglo-U.S. imperialists decided to form a Zionist colonial entity in Palestine as a military base to strengthen their empire in West Asia and North Africa. The imperialist front provided arms, other assets and displaced people from Europe to occupy Palestine and force out the indigenous Palestinians from much of their land.

Using overwhelming military power, money and people supplied by Anglo-U.S. imperialism, a Zionist colonial entity occupied Palestine and negated the Palestinian people’s right to be. The Zionist colonial entity’s right to exist and defend itself has required the negation of the right to be of the Palestinian people, the theft of their land, their suppression and brutalization, and the continuing military occupation of Palestine. Information Clearing House (Oct. 13)– A REPORT by a respected British medical journal the Lancet, has supported the possibility that late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat was poisoned with the radioactive element polonium 210.

The journal published a peer review of last year’s research by Swiss scientists. It backed their work, which found high levels of the highly radioactive element in blood, urine, and saliva stains on Arafat’s clothes and toothbrush.

The Palestinian leader died in 2004 in a French hospital near Paris, after being effectively confined to his West Bank compound for two years.

In November 2012, experts from Switzerland, France and Russia exhumed his remains and took samples to examine for possible poisoning. It was prompted by a documentary aired on Al- Jazeera, that claimed there were traces of polonium in Arafat’s personal belongings
