For your information: NAFTA becomes USMCA

NotInOurNameThe supranational oligopolies that control the economies of North America and seek global hegemony have tightened the screws of their domination over the peoples of the U.S., Mexico and Canada. The changes to the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) in becoming the U.S. Mexico Canada Agreement (USMCA) have both strengthened and loosened the rules of international trade on the continent to favour the most powerful oligarchs. Inauguration of Donald Trump as President of the United States

Step Up the Work in Defence of the Rights of All, for Democratic Renewal, an Anti-War Government and Independent Canada!

– Statement of the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist), January 20, 2017 –

PDF

Today, Donald Trump is sworn in as the 45th President of the United States. The overriding necessity for the Canadian working people is to concentrate on their own work in defence of their rights. The antidote to the non-stop promotion of the ideological beliefs of both Trump and the official anti-Trump forces is the work to build the independent institutions and voice of the Canadian working class and its allies, and broaden the struggle in defence of rights, for democratic renewal, an anti-war government and an independent Canada. Liberals’ program for ‘real change’

TML Weekly  carried an important editorial in its recent issue dated April 2 entitled, “The More Counterfeit the Measures, the Deeper the Crisis.”

The editorial addresses the program of reform the Trudeau Liberal government is implementing based on its electoral platform calledReal Change. TML Weekly  addresses the legitimacy crisis in which what are called the democratic institutions are mired, and puts the government’s program of reforms in this context. “The deepening opposition of workers, women, youth and Indigenous peoples to the nation-wrecking of the neo-liberal bourgeoisie… has peeled the facade from the democracy and revealed the police powers which remain in lieu of the government of laws,” TML Weekly  explains. Destabilization – US weapon in energy war in Ukraine and the Middle East

Is the USA fueling crises as negotiation tactics? The US is doing its best to estrange the EU from Russia to get the upper hand in a free trade deal, and also, to manipulate European countries into buying America’s relatively more expensive natural gas.

CFB Suffield: Britain to train thousands of troops in Canada

The CFB Suffield announcement was made as “business as usual” to keep Canadians unaware of the extent to which the territory of Canada is being consistently used by the NATO powers – the USA in the first place, which considers Canada to be its front yard – to prepare war and even as a launch pad for intervention against other nations and peoples.

By TONY SEED

110625-StJohnsMarineRescueCentre-02WHERE does the British Army send its troops to train for war when it has been kicked out of a North African country asserting its independence and sovereignty?

Which country then allows the British Army to use its territory to wage war against an independent and sovereign country in Latin America?

And which country recently changed all the names of its armed forces units to re-incorporate the word “Royal”? Started to share its embassies? Grovels before its queen?

The Right answer is Canada and for all the wrong reasons. Continue reading
